I love graphics on fabric and this retro-glam style dress with lace scalloping from Giamba had me hooked, it's adorable and goes hand in hand with a Lulu Guinness classic lips clutch. (Again dreaming of all the things I can't afford)
Speaking of whimsical things, this brings me on to Jeremy Scotts creative and wonderful Moschino RTW line, like Fendi, I usually just look at Moschino for accessories like their clutches and phone covers, as I always find their clothes are a bit too out there for me, preferring instead to see them mainly on young celebs, (and of course Anna Dela Russo) and it was no less outrageous this year, the line inspired by traffic lights, cars and the chicest lollipop lady, I found some pieces that I know I'll be dying over when I see bloggers Instagram them in their OOTDs, particularly this oversized sweater. It has the classic block typeface we know from Moschino (in case you forgot what you were wearing) and goes with the theme of motor vehicles with a garage themed graphic of two wrenches suspiciously in the shape of another famous logo (literally spelled out for you) how can you not love it? As Vogue said you can always expect 'classic novelty' from Jeremy Scott.
I'm always a sucker for Grecian style, so when I saw the pleated chiffon skirt on this dress from Phillip Plein I immediately loved it, especially with the leather top and metal detailing on the sides, as I think I'd be too afraid to ever full on wear a leather dress (it would not suit me - and I'm okay with that) and so am adding it on to my list of clothes I'd buy if I won the lotto.
And last but definitely not least, probably my favourite looks from MFW, Emporio Armani. I have to say, I've never paid much if any attention to E.M. but this week has turned it around for me. Emporio is Armani's younger collection and you can tell with the array of pastels in the collection, one of the most prominent being blush pink. Feminine to the core, with soft fur-like coats and pom pom earrings, flowing dresses and clean lines, this screamed youth but with an elegance you don't normally see marketed to the younger generation. I loved the line so much I drew two of my favourite designs, as you can see below.
This is where I leave you, I have to apologise if this post was rambling in some places and seemed rushed in the other, I wrote this on my morning commute. (as so many nosey passengers saw as they 'discreetly' looked over my shoulder)
